ApplicationWith the use of a small laser called the Diagnodent we can look at the surface of your teeth to identify caries. This gives us an accurate reading to let us know how much decay is present. In some cases ozone can be used in conjunction with other treatments, especially for larger cavities where lesions are close to the nerve and may be opened by drilling prior to ozone application. In deep cavities where there is a risk of nerve exposure leading to root canal therapy, more softened dentine can be left and disinfected with ozone making nerve involvement less likely.  | |
